Rose Zhu is a corporate partner and concentrates in on the areas of capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.  She has practiced in the United States, Hong Kong, and China, and is included in Strathmore’s Who’s Who Directory.

Ms. Zhu gathered extensive experience in cross-border transactions, some of which are high-profile, ground-breaking transactions.  For mergers and acquisitions, she has led outbound and inbound transactions, including stock and asset, private and public, hostile and friendly and private equity transactions.  Within capital markets, she has led debt and equity offerings for both underwriters and issuers in relation to a wide range of industries, including public offerings on the NYSE, NASDAQ and HKSE.  Ms. Zhu’s bank financing experience includes a variety of secured and syndicated lending transactions.

She has represented major corporations in China and the U.S., including Guodian Technology, Sinochem, China Development Bank, China Construction Bank, HNA Capital, Agricultural Bank of China, CITIC Bank, Postal Savings Bank of China, Chongqing Machinery, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, UBS, CICC, Deutsche Bank and Macquarie, among other.

Ms. Zhu graduated with distinctions from Stanford Law School with a J.D. degree in 1997.  She also achieved a Master degree in Public Policy from Duquesne University in 1992 and an LL.B. degree in Public Administration from Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics in 1990, each with merit-based scholarships and high honors.
