Allen is VP and General Counsel for Schneider Electric in Greater China region since 2009. Allen is responsible for all legal and compliance matters in Greater China including but not limit to M&A and JV restructure, commercial contracts and risk management, labor arbitration and commercial litigation, corporate governance and compliance, as well as IP and IP Protection.
Prior his role in Schneider Electric, Allen served as a partner in Paul Hastings Shanghai office corporate practice group to provide legal advice for multi-national company clients on M&A, FDI, PE, and Real Estate transactions.
Allen also worked for multi-national companies in different legal management positions, such as General Counsel for GE Capital in China and General Counsel for GE Infrastructure in Asia Pacific Region. Before joining GE, Allen also served on different senior management positions in major financial institution and bank in Hong Kong and the United States respectively.
Allen is a graduate of Boston University Law School and Boston College Business School in the United States and he also holds a LLB from Beijing University in China. Allen is a qualified attorney at law in the State of New York and he is also a member of the American Bar Association and New York Bar Association.
