ZHAO Jian, a member of Expert Consultation Committee and an arbitrator of CIETAC, holds a Doctor degree from Wuhan University and he has entitled to Special Government Allowances of the State Council in China since 2011. He works as part-time supervisor of LLM candidate in Renmin University, China University of Political Science and Law, University of International Business and Economics and the Law School of Communication University of China. He is a managing director of China Society of Private International Law and China Academy of Arbitration Law, a member of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and French Comparative Law Association, an arbitrator of Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre.
He had attended conferences of United Nations Commission on International Trade Law as a Delegation member of Chinese government from 2002 to 2014.
He has published 10 books as author or co-author and more than 40 articles on Law Study, Journal of Comparative Law, Chinese Yearbook of Private International Law and Comparative Law, Journal of Wuhan University, Procedural Law Review, Journal of International Arbitration and so on. He was honored with first prize of the first (1996-1999) Research Finding (Publications) Award of China Society of Private International Law.
