Mr. Bin Zhao is vice president, legal & government affairs of Qualcomm, in charge of the Legal & Intellectual Property Group and the Government Affairs Group in Qualcomm China. Except for all of the corporate issues relating to the laws, intellectual property protection and government affairs in China, Mr. Bin Zhao has been widely engaging in the management of the operation compliance, risk-control, trade affairs, corporate social responsibilities, etc. of Qualcomm China.

Mr. Bin Zhao graduated from Peking University with the Bachelar’s and Master’s degrees, and pursued in the U.S the doctoral degrees of Linguistics and Jurisprudence, respectively. He is a US registered attorney with over fifteen-years of private practice experience with international law firms, including Baker & McKenzie, DLA Piper and Morrison & Forrester, etc. Prior to his employment with Qualcomm, Mr. Zhao served Intel China as its Senior Legal Counsel and Sony China as VP and General Counsel.

Mr. Bin Zhao proactively participated in various social events, and currently serves as a Vice-Chairman of China Association of the Enterprises with Foreign Investment, Vice-Chairman of Beijing Association of the Enterprises with Foreign Investment, a Director of the Board of the Beijing Association of the New Social Class Members, and the Standing Director of Center for China & Globalization (CCG).
