Mr. Yongqing (William) Huang graduated from Peking University Law School in 1998 with an LL.B. degree and in 2002 with an LL.M. He received another LL.M. degree in 2001 from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law (where he was a Sohmen Scholar).
Mr. Huang has been in the legal practice for more than 14 years. Before joining Jingtian & Gongcheng in 2011, Mr. Huang practiced in a PRC law firm for four years, and afterwards in a leading international law firm for more than five years.
Mr. Huang has extensive experience in the areas of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, Chinese enterprises’ overseas investment transactions, VC&PE, and Chinese antitrust law. Mr. Huang has represented international and Chinese corporations in stock and asset purchase transactions, joint ventures, venture capital and private equity transactions. Mr. Huang has advised foreign and domestic clients on more than 20 PRC antitrust filings and antitrust investigations.
Mr. Huang has PRC legal qualification and was admitted to the New York bar.
Mr. Huang is a native mandarin speaker with English fluency.
