William Hu (Mr. HU Guohui) is the Regional Compliance Officer for Daimler. In this role, he leads a team in managing the compliance-related matters in the Greater China region. Such matters include third-party vetting, compliance in M&A projects, implementation of compliance in non-controlled shareholdings, critical transactions/activities review and consultation, compliance risks identification, mitigation plan design and follow-up, whistleblower and internal investigations, HR-related compliance management, training, etc. Prior to assuming current position in May 2012, Mr. Hu was the Compliance Officer of Dell North Asia region.

Mr. Hu worked at Founder Group, Tom.com, Nortel Networks and Dell as in-house counsel in China.

Mr. Hu obtained his Master of Law degree from Peking University. He is a qualified PRC lawyer and has several publications in the areas of environmental law and employment law.
